The NPS exists to serve photographers from the UK and abroad and is one of the fastest growing photographic organisations in the world.

Members may also enter our qualification programme and have their pictures assessed by our panel judges. An exciting new qualification system is being finalised which will allow members to be recognised as professional wedding, portrait, commercial, landscape etc photographers.

Merchant Services

We are pleased to announce that The NPS have put in place a merchant scheme for our members to take credit and debit cards.

Rates are a phenomenal 1.5% for credit cards and just 21p for debit cards.

There is no setup fee at all and terminal rental (should you require one) has been negotiated to half price as well.

Kodak struggling

Kodak Co announced a new business structure on Tuesday that divides its film group into its two other business units as the once-iconic photography company tries to refocus as a digital company to help fend off financial difficulties.
Its shares jumped after the news and closed up 50 percent at 60 cents.

SIGMA announce PG-31

The Sigma Corporation is pleased to announce the release of the PG-31 Power Grip, specially designed for Sigma’s SD1 digital SLR, the camera that ensures high resolution and breathtaking image quality.

The PG-31 is a specially designed battery grip which upgrades the battery power of the SIGMA SD1 by holding two dedicated BP-21 battery packs. This caters for large-volume photography and photography in field.

The PG-31 also incorporates a shutter button and therefore becomes a grip for vertical photography when attached to the SD1, providing a more assured grip.
